Farid Arab is an accomplished entrepreneur (Pureplayer, Footfans, Exit Synalcom…) and a passionate leader in the fields of entrepreneurship, employability, and social innovation. A graduate of IESA Multimedia in Paris, specializing in creative and cultural industries, Farid has over 20 years of experience contributing to innovative ecosystems and hosting conferences worldwide, including the Arab Internet Governance Forum (Arab IGF), World Forum Lille, Africup, African Startup of the Year, Web2days, Discoverability at UQAM, Francophonie Summit, SEOCAMP, JOOMLA, WORDPRESS, STARTUPWEEKEND, WEBDAYS, and GEW.

In 2011 in Algeria, Farid founded the Founder Family collective, a network of committed entrepreneurs based in over 32 countries, with the mission of creating a territorial dynamic among all stakeholders to drive a digital and cultural revolution. The Founder Family aims to empower individuals, foster international cooperation, and transform organizations to adapt to a changing environment. Through his efforts, Farid has co-organized over 50 hackathons worldwide, ranging from Vietnam to Canada and Madagascar to Romania.

Under Farid’s leadership, the Founder Family has developed programs and resources aimed at shaping role models by developing their leadership and entrepreneurial expertise. Over the past ten years, the Founder Family has conducted more than 266 workshops, 58 events, and trained 45,000 people worldwide. As the president of the association, Farid Arab embodies the values of impact, excellence, sharing and giving back, empathy, and good humor, and works tirelessly to make the Founder Family a major player and intelligent collective capable of implementing international impact projects.
